Material analysis

Our lab is at your disposal for asbestos analyses in any kind of material. These analyses are carried out following the English norm MDHS 77 (Methods for the determination of hazardous substances 77. Asbestos in bulk materials. Sampling and identification by polarised light microscopy. Sheffield, HSE June 1994). The samples are first observed under a stereomicroscope, and they undergo a treatment depending on the sample type (combustion, acidification, solvent, etc). Afterwards, samples are placed on a slide and observed by polarized light microscopy.
