Trace dosimeters
Our office and lab are accredited by the FOPH for this type of measurements. Notice that until winter 2009/10, the FOPH organizes every winter important measuring campaigns. Dosimeters are distributed for free in numerous Swiss municipalities. Therefore, we recommend you to ask your local authority first

To obtain results relatively rapidly and at moderated costs, we offer the possibility to proceed to analyses with “Ramon 2.2” instruments. These instruments give a first result after 48 hours and the average is then adjusted every hour. This type of analysis is especially interesting before the acquisition of a building.

By using several instruments, we are able to perform radon analyses in soils and building materials.
Radon analyses in soils are especially useful before building constructions in areas of radon risks. If needed, adapted methods against radon dispersion can be applied to the building.
Radon measurements in materials allow to determine the source of radon in a building (soil, walls, etc) and to take adapted decontamination measures.
Radon analyses in water are useful for several purposes. One of the purposes is to determine the input of radon to the air in a building by water degassing. Another application of the analyses in water is to quantify radon concentration in drinking water and to determine the risks for health.
